Publishing is the moment when a selected draft becomes a version that the public runtime can use. The process is explicit so you can see what will go live.

Preview first

Open the publication panel from Memory. The preview shows:
  • the next version name;
  • the exact Raw and Derived files included;
  • the generated Memory indexes;
  • warnings about sensitive Public files;
  • changes compared with the previous version;
  • the draft and Profile revisions used for the preview.
Read the preview like a release checklist. A Public file can be eligible without being the right file for this version.

Publish and activate

1

Resolve warnings

Review missing Properties, duplicate special roles, and High/Restricted sensitivity warnings. Make an explicit decision for sensitive content.
2

Confirm publication

TLDT rechecks that the draft and its revisions have not changed while you were reviewing. The selected content is stored as an immutable version.
3

Activate when ready

Activation moves the public runtime pointer to that version. Until activation, the previous live version remains active.

Versions are independent

Changing a draft after publication does not change the published version. To update the profile, edit the draft, preview a new version, publish it, and activate it. To roll back, activate an older immutable version.
Do not treat a successful draft save as a public release. The public profile reads only the active published version, never a draft fallback.
